Did you know, we have the festival every year around Flag Day?

Back in 1976 there was a challenge put out to all Indiana towns to see who could have the most patriotic festival.  Most towns decided to host their festival around the fourth of July!

We had to be different and in order to allow for more people to attend, we decided to have our festival around flag day!  So now you can never forget when our festival is.
